Post championship update

So, let's start with what predictions we have left.

The superb owl champion can only be predicted by hale.

The NFL awards Will Be Given out eventually....So Those still Exist

And the Lombardi award isn't given out until the week after superbowl. So let's enjoy never picking that award again.

In the meantime. Nobody had the Falcons in the super bowl. And the people who repped the pats are me, folden, and hale. 20 points a piece

Also me and folden had the steelers losing the afc title game. So that's 15 points to each of us.

And, myself, jim, colin, and geiss had the Packers as nfc championship losers. That's 15 points a piece too.

Lastly each of the pick em were worth 5 points with me, jim, folden, colin, shawn, and hale eacheck getting 1 game right.

So here are the points earned this week.

Adam 55
Folden 40
Hale 25
Jim 20
Colin 20
Geiss 15
Shawn 5

That puts our season total at this point to this.

Adam 1010
Shawn 893
Colin 890
Folden 865
Joe 834
Gross 792
Rob 783
Gary 746
Jim 728
Hale 677
Munez 657
Epson 557

Really close between 2nd and 3rd. The superbowl pickem may be the decider there.

Also don't discount folden yet. If he's able to profit in one of the individual awards then he could jump into the top 2 as well.

And, it's official that I'm going to be the champion of football god 9.

That's it for today. Back for another update after the individual award finalists are named

Little Update

Hey, small update after the weekend.

Next week, there are a good amount of points that will be distributed depending on which way the title games go.  Lots of people have the Pats, Steelers, and Packers lined up in someway, whether it's in the sb or losing their respective championship games.

Here's how things shook out from the 2 points for each game from last night.  Next week's pick's are worth 5 points a piece, fyi.

Gary 8
Shawn 8
Folden 6
Hale 6
Adam 6
Rob 6
Colin 6
Munez 6
Joe 6
Geiss 4
Jim 4
Eplin 0

Totals:

Adam 955
Shawn 888
Colin 870
Joe 834
Folden 825
Rob 783
Geiss 777
Gary 746
Jim 708
Munez 657
Hale 652
Eplin 557

Seattle's loss hurt the placing chances of a few people out there. Let's see what happens next week.

Point Update

What's up guys.  Quick update now that the National Championship is over

Folden, Colin, and Gary each earned 30 points for picking Clemson to win it all.

Jim earned 20 points for picking Alabama as the runner up.

Folden and kentucky Hillbilly earned 10 points for picking Clemson in the bowl pick'em.

Folden, Hale, and Munez all finished tied for 2nd in the bowl pick 'em, so they split 2nd and 3rd place points, so 10 points a piece.

As far as the NFL pick'em went:

Folden, Geiss, Gary, Rob, Munez, and Shawn got 8 point.

Hale, Colin, Adam, and Joe got 6 points.

Jim got 4 points, and Eplin has apparently thrown in the towel.

For the week, the biggest mover was Folden, but here are your totals.

Folden 58
Colin 36
Gary 38
Jim 24
Hale 16
Munez 18
Dan 8
Rob 8
Shawn 8
Adam 6
Joe 6

Adam 947
Shawn 880
Colin 864
Joe 828
Folden 819
Rob 777
Geiss 773
Gary 738
Jim 704
Munez 651
Hale 646
Eplin 557

Compared to last week, Folden made the biggest jump.  He went from 7th to 5th, and while he was 67 points out of 3rd then with 4 people to pass, he's now 45 points out of 3rd with 2 people to pass.  And, he's only 9 points out of 4th.

This helped Colin a lot too, as Joe had Bama winning and Clemson as the runner up.  If Bama had won, Joe would be solidly in 3rd place, with the ability to catch Shawn for 2nd.

As it stands, Colin now only sits 16 points behind Shawn for 2nd.

I have a 67 point lead over Shawn and an 83 point lead over Colin.

So, let's start with this question.  Can I still be caught?

Colin & Shawn both had Arizona winning the Superbowl and Pittsburgh in the superbowl.  They both also had New England losing the AFC Championship.  Most points available to them here are 35.  Shawn also had Carolina losing the NFC title game, so no points for him.  Colin had Green Bay so there's 15 more points available to him.

Colin also had Aaron Rodgers as MVP and he's on the short list to win it.  I also had him, but Shawn had Jameis Winston.

Colin 85
Voyten 55
Adam 105

We all had Ezekiel Elliott winning OROY.

Colin had Jalen Ramsey and I had Leonard Floyd winning Defensive Rookie of the year, which are both still possibilites.  Shawn had Shaq Lawson who is not.

Shawn and I both had Jordy Nelson as comeback player of the year, Colin had Andrew Luck.  I'd say it much more likely that Jordy wins that.  But, they are still available to Colin as well.

There are also 28 points of predictions still available.

Also, the Lombardi award, which has not been awarded yet, is still up for grabs.  The 4 finalists are Jonathan Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jabrill Peppers, and Myles Garrett.

That's 25 more points available to me and Shawn.

So, with all that being said, here are the maxium amount of points that each of us can still get.

Adam 158
Colin 133
Voyten 108

I'd say it's unlikely and nearly impossible that I get caught down the stretch.  I think Colin has a better shot than Shawn, just because Shawn and I have so many of the same predictions left.

Otherise, it appears Folden and Joe are very much still in the running for 3rd or even possibly 2nd.

Geiss & Rob sit in 6th and 7th, and although it's unliley to see them jump to the money, they both still have their Superbowl teams and AFC & NFC championship losers still there.  So, it's not out of the question to see them jump into the money if a lot of things go right for them.

That's all for this week.  Take 'er easy...If she's easy take 'er twice.

And, now we've come. To the End of the Road

So, another week and another bunch of point updates to do.  And, the NFL season has hit it's logical end.

A lot of predictions were finalized this week, but first we'll start with Professional Pick'em first.

PRO PICK'EM

I was able to get 14 of 16 to pass Geiss and finish in 1st in the pro pick'em.

What's even more surprising was Gary jumped up into a tie for 2nd with Geiss.  That means I won the 60 point bonus, and Gary and Geiss are splitting the 2nd and 3rd place points, which equal out to 30 points a piece for them.  Good season guys.

Also, Gary and I each earned  one more 5 point bonus for the last weekly pick'em bonus of the year.

BOWL PICK'EM

Bowl Pick'em is looking like Shawn's to lose.  He has a 3 bowl lead with only 5 bowls left to play.  Eplin and Munez are in 2nd and 3rd, while Hale and Jim are in 4th.

The  6 NYE bowls are worth 5 points per prediction.  So, let's see what our totals are.

Shawn 56
Munez 53
Hale 48
Jim 48
Eplin 47
Geiss 44
Folden 43
Joe 42
Colin 40
Adam 39
Rob 36
Gary 35

PREDICTIONS

So, lots of predictions to go over, but let's start with college first.

Alabama beat Washington and Clemson beat Ohio State to give us a rematch of last year's CFP final.
Joe and Rob are the only two who had both of these teams in the finals.  Both with Alabama winning it.

Colin and Folden and Gary had Clemson winning it. Me, Shawn, Munez, and Geiss also had Alabama winning it all.

Jim is out of it with Ohio State winning it, but does still have Alabama losing the National Championship.

Onto the NFL, let's start first with the finalized predictions we made of the stats leaders.

Receiving Yardage TY Hilton
Rushing Yards Zeke Elliott
Sacks Vic Beasley
Interceptions Casey Hayward

Folden was the only person to get any of these, when he picked Elliott.

Division Champions

Last night, KC won their game, while Oakland lost theirs.  This led to KC being the AFC West Champion, and scoring 15 points for everyone but Geiss, Hale, Eplin, and Shawn.

Colin, Eplin, and Gary all received 15 points for choosing Oakland in the AFC wildcard.  Surprisingly, those were the only Wildcard points that anyone got this year.  Noone had Detroit, the Giants, or Miami.

Mike McCoy was fired by San Diego last night,  this gave 15 points to everyone but Munez and Voyten.  The cut off for fired coaches is tonight at midnight, so there's still time for someone's sadness to make you happy.

Green Bay won last night, which gives everyone the NFC North Champion.

Finally,  the bears locked up the #3 pick in the draft.  This gave 15 points to Geiss and Eplin.

Big Change since last week.  My lead has jumped to nearly 100 points over Shawn at 2nd.  Shawn has the lead in the Bowl Pick'em though, and can make a dent in the lead by next week.

Honestly, you guys all know what remaining predictions you have and can figure out what you need to happen to finish in the top 3.  It's probably  between Shawn and I now for the championship, but Joe and Colin still probably have an outside chance.

Happy New Year.  We'll talk later bitches.

Bonus Points and Hoes

Happy Christmas, Jamokes.  Hope you had a good one.  Hope Santa slid down and in, giving you all that you needed.  Hope he filled you up...with Joy.  And ate your...Cookies.  Time for an update

FANTASY FOOTBALL

Hot damn.  What a great championship.  Both Joe and Colin put up some big ass numbers, and it took until Monday Night for Colin to seal his championship.  Good season for everyone.

Shawn beat Jim in the 3rd place game.

Bonus Points as follows.

Colin 60
Joe 40
Shawn 20

Total points in Fantasy Football for the year.

Colin 140
Joe 120
Jim 100

Gary 80

Hale 50
Geiss 50
Eplin 40
Folden 20

Well done on a good season.

SURVIVOR POOL

All good things end in a tie, right?

Rob switched his pick from Dallas to Tennessee, in what ended up being a big mistake.  Tennessee got destroyed by the fuck face Jaguars, and ended the Survivor Pool with 2 champions.  Rob and I split the 60 for 1st and 40 for 2nd, getting 50 points a piece.

Rob, Folden, and I were the only three to make it through week 9, which also gave us 10 points for making it through the halfway point.

Totals in Survivor Pool for the season

Adam 60
Rob 60
Folden 30

PRO PICK'EM

Flip Flop again, as Geiss has retaken the lead.  With 1 week to play, Geiss has a 1 point lead over me, 3 over Gary, and 5 over Colin.  Joe sits 6 back.

It's probable that Colin and Joe are out of it.  As they would have to jump 3 too many people to get to 1st.  However,  they are still in striking distance of 3rd, and it's not unfeasible that one of them could jump to 2nd with a great last week.

The 5 point bonus went to Munez for putting up an 11 spot.

PREDICTIONS

Here is what was clinched over the weekend.

Steelers winning the AFC North was gotten by everyone.

Houston winning the South was gotten by Hale, Folden, Joe, Muenz, Colin, and Rob.

And, BREAKING NEWS, about an hour ago Sexy Rexy Ryan was fired in Buffalo.  The on,ly person with that pick, was Geiss.

There are still some people with Washington & Tampa Bay in the wildcard, but they will need some help.

Colin, Gary, and Eplin have K.C winning the wildcard, and Geiss has Oakland.  So at least one person will get a wildcard team right this year.

Also, KC (who was chosen by 9 of us) could win the West with a Raiders loss, and a win.  And GB (who was chosen by all of us), will win the NFC North with a win Sunday night.

Total NFL Prediction points are as follows.

Folden 110
Rob 105
Jim 90
Adam 90
Shawn 90
Joe 90
Colin 90
Geiss 90
Hale 75
Munez 75

BOWL PICK'EM

16 games in and Eplin is in the lead, trying to repeat in the Bowl Pick'em.  Munez, and I are 1 behind, and Jim and Shawn 2 behind.  Kentucky Hillbilly leasdsa group of 6 people that are 3 behind, and Rob and Colin have gotten 6. Still like 24 bowls to play.

Here are the points earned so far.

Next week:

We'll know in next weeks updates which 2 teams are playing in the College Football Championship.

The bonus points for the Pro Pick'em will be passed out.

The division winners and wildcard winners will be decided.  The coaches fired deadline is next monday night.  Chicago and Jacksonville will decide who has the #3 pick in the draft.

Basically, you will know by next week what chance you have to win and what you need to happen to get into the top 3.

Happy New Year.  Everyone be safe.

Slowly but surely, the points trickle in

What up jabroni's.  Two weeks to go in the NFL regular season and things are starting to clear up.  Lots of points will be distributed in the next two weeks, with some starting today.

SURVIVOR POOL:

Rob and I both took Atlanta and both moved on to week 16.  If Rob and I end up tying there will be 50 points apiece distributed.  That's it for now.

PRO PICK'EM

Another rousing week of picks, leading to Hale crushing it and earning the 5 point bonus.  With two weeks to play, I have a 1 game lead over Geiss, 3 over Gary, 4 over Colin, and 7 over Joe.

Everyone else is too far back to get back into it.  There is a 60, 40, 20, bonus for 1st -3rd.

FANTASY FOOTBALL

Congrats to Joe & Colin on navigating the waters of Fantasy Football to reach the championship.  They are each promised at least 40 bonus points with 60 going to the winner.  Shawn and Jim are fighting over 3rd and 20 bonus points.

The games were unimpressive in score, but none the less.  A win is a win.

Quick note. This is the 3rd time in 4 years Colin had been in the finals. And actually since 2010 Joe or Colin has been in the finals every year but 1. So, that's pretty impressive by both of them.

PREDICTIONS

This is the big one this week.

New England clinched their division to the surprise of noone.  Everyone got 15 points there.

Gus Bradley was fired by Jacksonville, which gave me 15 points, as the only one to pick him fired.

Seattle officially clinched the NFC West giving 15 points to me, Jim, Shawn, Folden, Rob, Geiss, and Hale.

Arizona officially got eliminated from the playoffs, which was imminent but now official.

TOP 3 DRAFT PICKS

This is the biggest one of clarity.  Cleveland and San Francisco both clinched a top 3 draft pick with their losses this weekend.  Officially noone will get all 3 teams in the bottom.  But I'll spell out exactly where we are.

Jacksonville would have the 3rd pick if the league ended today with 2 wins.  Above them is Chicago with 3, and L.A & NYJ with 4 wins.

Noone had Jacksonville in the bottom 3, or the Jets.  Geiss & Eplin have Chicago, and Gary has L.A.

LA is probably out of the top 3 but with tiebreakers you never know.  Jacksonville beat Chicago this year so if they end up tied, Chicago will have the #3 pick.

Gettinig both Cleveland and SF are the following peopole.

Adam, Jim, Shawn, Folden, Joe, Colin, Rob.

Getting 1 of the 2 teams is Munez, Geiss, Hale, and Gary.

Rushing title.  Ezekiel Elliott has a 350 yard lead over the next closest person to him.  Folden was the only one to choose him to win.  Nearly a guaranteed 20 points for Folden.  I hate to jump the gun on giving Folden the points, but whatever.  Doin' it.

Here are your pro prediction points as of now.

Folden 80
Jim 75
Rob 75
Adam 75
Shawn 60
Joe 60
Colin 60
Geiss 45
Hale 45
Munez 30
Gary 30
Eplin 15

Stat Predictions.

Sacks leader.  It's looking like it's down to Vic Beasley and Vonn Miller.  Khalil Mack is 3 back with 2 to play, so there's still a chance there.  Chandler jones is 6.5 back, so Eplin's choice has joined the many JJ Watt selections.

Interceptions Leader

Casey Hayward is leading the league with 7 picks with 2 games to play.  Noone else has more than 5.  4 people have Marcus Peters, who has 5.  So a hot finish for him is the only real chance left for anyone to score there.

Receiving Yards:

Julio Jones has maintained the lead in receiving yards despite missing the last two games with an injury.  TY Hilton and Antonio Brown are close.

BOWL PICK'EM

There were 5 bowl games last week, everyone won between 2 and 4 of them.  I won't be adding them into the points until later though.  Either next week or the week after, once there is a discernible difference.
